I've been searching for a bag pack for quite a while now. One which can fit both my laptop and camera and also looks neat. I've yet to find one which has sufficient padding and protection. Been on search since last year till now.

Which one fine day, my friend showed me what he saw. Instantly, I fell in love with it. No matter how many others I see, they just cant seem to make me feel how this one did. So here it is, the Manfrotto Veloce VII. They come in different sizes and colors as well.

This is how it looks like:






So as you can see, it has lotsa padding. Lotsa compartment. Can fit your tripod in or outside the bag. I think that this is really a great bag!

Tribute

5th October 2011 became a day which i will always remember. He has changed the way we live, the way we see things and the way technology advance.

Steven Paul Jobs (Steve Jobs) the Co-Founder, CEO and Chairman of Apple. A person who inspired me and changed my life. There's many articles online about him now so i guess i do not need to go into a lengthy post about him.

His resignation in August was quite sudden and now with his passing, is really a lost to Apple, US and The World. It was a day after the launch of the new iPhone 4S. Didnt expect that he would depart so sudden. When you think back on his mail to Apple (attached below), he probably knew that it was almost time for him to bid farewell to all of us already.



There's no Apple Store here in Malaysia, so resellers here (Machines) created a board for people to put up their thoughts to Steve. It was nice of them to do so. On Saturday i went over to post mine up. I could only say that, it felt as if i went to his grave to pay my respect. Grabbed a quick shot of it and here is a picture of it:



I can only hope that he has passed his ideas to Apple now and that Apple will continue to come up with revolutionary products that will touch and change people's life's. I regret not knowing how powerful the iPhone was when it first came out. And yes, in fact i hated it. But as time went by, i realize how good it was and now, there's not another phone which i will and can use that gives me the user experience which i have with the iPhone.

To her, Sept 11 use to only mean her birthday. Then it brought another meaning when US got attacked. Later this year, it will be another date for her to remember as it will be her wedding day.

M.I.A

Been M.I.A for quite a while. Too busy running around. Will try to get back to the habit of once a week at least. A new addition to my desk came in last Monday I think. Desk is getting more and more messy by the day. Gotta clean it soon. I've now officially got 3 screens on my desk. Well, lucky this isnt a big one.

The craze is still not over for this yet and its still selling like hotcakes. Those who know me prolly guessed it already. Here it is:

Was there over the weekend and I was reminded how much I missed and love this place.

iPhone

Yes, it's been almost half a year since I have replaced the iPhone. I didn't really plan to change it but the retina display of the phone is just amazing. Yeah, so with that, I sold off the 3GS and started using the 4.

Goodbye ol chap. You served me very well.

Can't really see how awesome the display is from here but it is really awesome

Didn't want to add bulk to the phone as I like the original feeling of it so I bought this cover.

This is the free one I got from Apple due to call drops (but funny thing is i didnt encounter any)

I've waited years for this

Sorry for the lack of updates. Been busy and not really taking pictures. Well, not to say I haven't been but its mostly on automotive shots. So head on over to " J's Sightings ". Even then its been slow these days as I'm kinda occupied with work.

Anyway, since I've some time today... Will post this up.

I've finally bought it! There was only 2 things that make me feel like buy it...


One:

Metal Gear Solid 4

Almost jumped in BUT able to resist... Then this came out:

Gran Turismo 5

Couldn't help it, just had to buy the PS3 for this as the graphics and the game play are just too good to not get it. After getting it, I saw this...

Gran Turismo Edition PS3

Picture doesn't do justice to its color. You have to see it with your own eyes. Sadly, i couldn't sell mine off at the point and now... I couldn't be bothered bout it. Plus I'm too far into the game. 80% completion and I'm determined to finish it. So yeah, this is whats occupying some of my nights and helping me save more money as well.

V-Day

Was thinking of upgrades for the SLR but as time went by it became clearer that the upgrades that I have planned doesn't really help for what i'm shooting. So for the time being, i'm done. A CPL filter and a more comfortable strap.

For the strap, I've been searching high and low. Even ordered one through my friend who went to Singapore as I couldnt find one here. But i accidentally bumped into the shop when i was meeting a client in KL. Walked in, saw it, grabbed one and paid for it. Here it is:


Crumpler's Industry Disgrace

* Its really comfortable. It helps in reducing the weight feeling for the SLR compared to the old strap. Whichever way you hang it round your neck, it still feels right. Good stuff!

City Lights

Took this after the fireworks for the new year. The scene was really breathtaking. This is actually the view from the 44th floor of The Sail, Marina Bay. The observatory deck. There's chairs and tables for you to chill out. I know where I'd be for most nights if i was staying there.

Changes

I'd like to inform that as from this post onwards that there wont be anymore posts and updates on cars at Through Stealth Lens. Reason is because I do not want this blog to be filled with car pictures. So I've decided to keep this space for everything else I shoot except cars.
